Next Friday August 17, one of the greatest orchestral directors of the world, Zubin Mehta will be playing in San Martin Square in Buenos Aires. This free show is only 6 blocks away from our Hostel Colonial. The show of the Maestro is programmed for 1PM in company of the Mayo Musical Florentino Orchestra. A noon you won’t forget if visiting Buenos Aires City this week.
After a successful concert in 2010, when Mehta played
for 30.000 people, the musical genius returns with a great spectacle. The works
he will be playing are:

Zubin Mehta was born in Bombay, India and since 1981
is the Life Musical Director for the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. His debut
as a director was in 1958, in Vienna, in the same year he won the international
contest of musical direction in Liverpool. He stayed in Liverpool as Assistant
Director, until he became Official Director a couple of years before. He also
conducted the orchestras of Montreal, Los Angeles, New York (from 1978 to 1991)
and Munich.
