Buenos Aires City main bus
station located in Retiro neighborhood will soon be relieve from it high
circulation: a new bus station is planned for the beginning of 2015. It will be
located in the south of the city and seeks to absorb 40% of the buses than
nowadays arrive and leave from Retiro Station. As a collateral effect, this new

The area of the new terminal are
4.4 hectares delimited by Dellepiane Highway and Perito Moreno Avenue, south of
Flores neighborhood. The idea is to extend the E Line of the subway to reach
this new terminal. The place is already reached by more than 15 urban buses.
The plan includes the construction of 14,400 square meters in a semi-covered
building. There will be place for 48 simultaneous buses in its parking lines.
The place will include a 400
spaces parking, 55 ticket counters, restaurants, cafes, libraries and a
drugstore. Solar panels and LED technology will be used in its design to reduce
the energy consumption. Also, the roof will be transparent to take advantage of
the daylight. The name for this new terminal will be the same as the highway
nearby: Dellepiane Terminal. Buenos Aires promotes tourism and seeks to improve
