Since last
Saturday, the Buenos Aires City Planetarium Galileo Galilei (located in the
woods of Palermo neighborhood) offers a marvelous 360 show: Buenos Aires city
images in the full dome with Astor Piazzolla music interpreted by his grandson
and his band “Escalandrum”. The name of the event is “Tango 360, Buenos Aires
and the love as you’ve never seen them before”. Hostel Colonial tells you all
about this great spectacle.
The show
lasts 26 minutes and tells a story of passion and dance with Buenos Aires as a
marvelous setting. The soundtrack is “The Four Season of Buenos Aires” of Astor
Piazzolla, one of our greatest tango composers of all times. The original
script was written by Rodolfo Rabanal, winner of the Literature City Award.
The process
of shooting of this piece involves 4K shoots and high complexity animations to
develop a great work of “immersive cinema”, as this genre is known. You can
enjoy the show from Tuesdays to Fridays at 5PM and Saturdays and Sundays at
7.30PM. The tickets cost 50 Argentine pesos (around 10 USD). The City
Planetarium is located on Sarmiento Ave and Belisario Roldán St. in Palermo
neighborhood.
