A trip to La Rioja

La Rioja is a destination of exotic landscapes composed by great lakes, salt fields(the "salares"), unusual icons like the Avion de la Laguna (a plane in the middle of a lake) and the river El Batidero, which waters have two colors, and many other interesting places that you can know by traveling through the mountains and the coast of La Rioja.
The La Cruz and Velazco hills, as well as the ravines of Los Sauces and The Condors are impressive places with panoramic sights and nature contact. It´s possible to make tours in mountain cottages with horse riding until the canyons of The Condors ravines, visits to the archeological places like the Talampaya Park, the only place in the world that exposes the whole Triassic age, with internal circuits and paths that takes you 250 million years ago, in the times of the first dinosaurs.
Canyons with more than 80 million years old and the Lost City (La Ciudad Perdida) 5 hours in a labyrinth of small canyons and geographic shapes that imitate a city in the stones, made little by little during centuries by the nature.
