Those events will take place the next Friday in Buenos Aires, as the city will also be the "Capital of Tango" from August 14th until 31st.
The Tango Festival as an event that is held every year has the purpose of the recovery and enhancement of the genre heritage as a typical porteño practice. It will be held in Harrod´s Shops (2 blocks walking from the Hostel Colonial) Tango Porteño (5 blocks walking from the Hostel Colonial) Konex City, Avenida Theater, San Martin Theater and the Galileo Galilei Planetarium.

Tango Dance Championship: established by the City of Buenos Aires in order to celebrate Tango and choose the best Tango stage dancers from all over the world.The audience will enjoy scenes of milongas, exhibitions, dance shows, free themes classes…The finals on Monday 31st at the Luna Park Stadium (4 blocks walking from the Hostel Colonial)
