MEDIALAB: ART & TECHNOLOGY (By Hostel Buenos Aires)
The Spanish Cultural Center of Buenos Aires –CCEBA- (1150 Balcarce Street, San Telmo) introduces the exhibition “MediaLab”. Art & technology meet in a particular display of creation and innovation that gathers the best projects born in the Production Lab of the Cultural Center. Until next December 18th, everyday with free admission, the encounter of two worlds.
From hardware hacking intervened electrical appliances or sculptures with artificial neuronal systems to installations which answer and visualize text messages or performances with touch sensitive screens and robots which try to keep the life of different plants, everything you can (or can not) imagine is here. A peculiar exhibition for those who love innovation in an experimental and radical way.
The Production Lab of the CCEBA that promotes MediaLab has a main goal: to generate a space where the artists can complete the production cycle, from the presentation of the project to the display of its work in an exhibition. Different disciplines as new media, motion graphics, videogames and digital animation come together in this avant-garde show.
To experiment, to discover, to know, to be dazzled, to contemplate, to participate. MediaLab is much more than a simple art exhibition or a display of technology apparatuses: MediaLab is the combination of these two worlds of creation and innovation.
