This summer, avant-garde art lovers cannot miss the exhibitions of the Proa Foundation in La Boca neighborhood. There are three exhibitions, in different mediums gathering artists from four continents. Plurality of styles and plurality of voices which builds the essence of contemporary art. Until March next 6th, Porteño and worldwide avant-garde is waiting for you in Buenos Aires. The mentioned exhibitions are: “Art in the Auditorium III” (a group of experimental videos by true stars of the international scenario), “Of Bridges and borders” (interdisciplinary works by international contemporary artists) and “Cortar y pegar” (“Cut and Paste” by Argentine contemporary artists). These are works you have to decode, decipher and enjoy taking your time.
The exhibition halls are clean, focused on the works. They have puffs and chairs for every spectator to take all the time they need to analyze the works: a group of videos, texts, sculptures, forms, colors and experiments which shape untraditional exhibitions. An opportunity to see but also to know the new stuff, to inspire or to be dazzled by the creative forms of the XXI Century. The Proa Foundation (1929 Pedro de Mendoza Avenue, La Boca) can be visited from Tuesdays to Sundays from 11AM to 7PM. A great option if you are visiting the traditional neighborhood of La Boca. After walking through Caminito, taking pictures of the Old Bridge and knowing the Boca Juniors Stadium, you can take a walk by the Port and visit these original and revolutionary exhibitions.
