HOLY WEEK IN BUENOS AIRES




Tomorrow, April Thursday 21st, the Holy Week begins around the world. This catholic religious celebration is massive in Buenos Aires (as well as the Pesaj or Jewish Easter, which are also bring celebrated these days), and its perfect to enjoy our city. Many Porteños use this extended weekend to go on vacations, configuring a less crowded city. Specialists calculate over 300 thousand tourists visiting us this Holy Week.

The city is prepared for the occasion with guided visits, concerts and religious ceremonies which will take place in circuits of a great patrimonial richness. Guided visits

April 21st / 3PM. Churches of Palermo
Meeting point: Güemes Square (Charcas and Salguero St.). The tour will visit the following places: Basílica del Espíritu Santo, Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Narek and Catedral de la Anunciación de la Santísima Virgen.

April 21st / 5PM. Downtown Churches
Meeting point: Basílica Nuestra Señora de la Merced (207 Reconquista St.). The tour will visit the following places: Oratorio San Ramón Nonato, Catedral Metropolitana, Iglesia San Ignacio Loyola, Basílica and Convento de San Francisco, Capilla San Roque, Basílica Nuestra Señora del Rosario and Convento Santo Domingo.
