BUENOS AIRES, CURIOSITIES AND RARE PLACES THAT WILL NEVER APPEAR IN A TOURIST GUIDE - A HOSTEL COLONIAL SELECTION

Buenos Aires. Fortunately, I always left things to tell about my city. Days ago I was thinking about taking pictures of places, buildings, city corners, shops, bars and restaurants that will never appear in a tourist guide.
You can always find people who are interested in learning about these simple sites, easy access and with zero production, and places to have a coffee can be a strange trip, a real experience.
I was walking down the hostel neighborhood when suddenly I thought that it would be a great idea searching for places unknown or known only by a few that manage information and good pins for travelers who are looking for something different.
Curiosities, retro toys mixed with studies of tattooists and avant-garde clothing, rare museums and living statues. I invite you to give a tour for the Buenos Aires backyard, it's worth.

Galerías Bond Street
Galerías Bond Street is an absolute must-see for anyone who ever wondered where the Buenos Aires youth go to satiate their sinful urges. Located in prime territory on lower Avenida Santa Fe – a shopper's haven – Bond Street has a little bit of everything and it's all a little bit naughty. The lower floor will reveal the fun Retro-Toys store for anyone in need of action figures, lunch boxes, and other weird and wonderful delights.

Buenos Aires Toy Museum
Vintage toys made or found in Argentina. From tin to plastic, Action Figures to Dolls, from Robots to Space toys. Action Figures of the 70's and 80's. Transformers, Gi Joes. You name them. They where made in Argentina.TV Toys and Memorabilia. Or if you are searching for Dolls or Barbie Dolls, Jem's, Stawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony. All girls toys as well, this web site will have for you more than you would have thought possible to find.

Wax Museum
Inaugurated on June 11, 1980 by Professor Domingo I. Tellechea, a great expert in wax modeling, taxidermist and art restorer. The Museum was started up with the purpose to create a cultural space in our country joining art and history.
It offers a unique possibility to live unforgettable moments by walking among the most important people of our history. Wax has turned out to be the material with the greatest artistic resources to elaborate the human figure, becoming the only ideal material, since it has color, form and translucency, allowing to liken skin colors in a nearly perfect way.

World Butterflies
With this name has been created in the República Argentina, in fact in San Miguel's town, County of Buenos Aires, an entomological museum that harbors important collections of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and diverse exotic arthropods of the whole world. Their characteristics, exclusivity in the topic and diversity of the Entomofauna of the Planet; makes that everything, together to the scientific norms of assembly and meeting of data, transform it into a sample unpublished and great value like study source and comparison, declared of Municipal and Provincial Cultural Interest.
