This week is the French Week in Buenos Aires “Viví Francia 2011”. From September 18th to 25th you will enjoy different special activities appealing to the community participation. The idea is to exhibit the presence of France in diverse fields as: fashion, environment care, gastronomy, architecture and music, among others.
This third edition includes guided tours through the French architectural circuits of our city, a new edition of the French-Argentine Business Forum, educational days, art exhibitions, music cycles, French cinema, a gastronomic tour and beauty and fashion shows.
Also in the French Week 2011, the French Embassy celebrates the French Patrimony Day in an open doors day for all visitors. The Sofitel Hotel Buenos Aires will host the French “Art de VIvre”. “Thé a la Mode”, “Appero Montmartre” and a special menú in its restaurant Le Sud are some of the proponed activities there.
Also in the French Week you can enjoy the best French music in several concerts including a tribute to Georges Brassens and a Celtic Bretagne Folk night. In cinema, there will be a tribute to Serge Gainsbourg in the red lounge of the IFT Theater. These wonderful activities and many more you can experiment during this week in Buenos Aires.
