Since last Friday September the 9th the “F11: Week of Photography” is taking place in the city of La Plata (50km south of Buenos Aires City). Until September the 17th, the event will gather photographers, visual artists, students, graphic designers and film makers. The place seeks to merge the different points of view, experiences and working techniques which define their professions.
The Week contemplates different talks with guest artists, photo exhibitions, workshops, a cinema cycle and a collective demonstration. The F11 takes place in many different, relevant spaces of the city, all of them related to cultural management.
The opening talk is on photography and music, and will take place today, September the 12th, 6PM in the Salón Dardo Rocha of the La Plata University (UNLP) in 7th Street between 47th and 48th streets.
