ROGER WATER’S THE WALL IN BUENOS AIRES

From March the 7th until March the 20th the ex-Pink Floyd Roger Waters will bring its show The Wall to Buenos Aires. This tour is expected to be the last world tour Waters will play live. In Buenos Aires the mega rock opera will take place in the River Plate Stadium. The scenography the bassist brings costs US$ 15 million and has a large wall (424 giant bricks covering 70 meters long and 11 meters tall) which crosses the whole stage and evokes the imaginary of The Wall.

The show lasts 2 hours in two segments of 13 songs from the classic Pink Floyd album of 1979. Defined as one of the most ambitious and complex rock shows, specialists say it's almost impossible not to be impressed with this show purely as a sensory experience: the animations look incredible and the sound effects whirl around the auditoriums. More surprising is how Waters has flourished into a performer.

The nine concerts he will perform will gather almost a million people, stating a new show and assistance records in Argentina. In the stadium museum, you can also enjoy a plastic art exhibition inspired by the conceptual work of The Wall. It is known as “The Wallmania” and includes some of the most prestigious artists of Argentina and South America.

We are waiting for you in Hostel Colonial if you are coming to Buenos Aires to enjoy these shows. The best place, only 30 minutes far from the stadium.
