“My first exhibition 2012” is a new proposal of the Buenos Aires City Government. The idea is to give new artist the chance to exhibit their works, while the audience gets a chance to discover and evaluate the upcoming talent. During May (until June the 3rd), in the Cultural Space “Chacra de los Remedios” (the only remaining farmhouse of our city in Parque Avellaneda neighborhood), you can find what new in Argentine, plus reflexive themes on our environment and history, through the experimentation with plastic forms and material.
The chosen area this time is drawing and painting. The
selection criteria privileged those who show personal ideas and reflexive
themes on our environment and history through the experimentation with plastic
forms and materials. The artists selected by the General Direction of Cultural
Patrimony are: Luis Carlos Júarez, Sofía Ugarte, Paola Guglietti, Manuel
Massolo, Josefina Bilbatúa, Karina Quinteros, Diana Drake and Cecilia Ghiraldo.
The objective of this demonstration is to promote the
artistic activity in our city and to generate the encounter among artist and the
cultural spaces that the city offers.
You can visit the different exhibitions Tuesdays to
Fridays from 2PM to 7PM and Saturday and Sundays from 1PM to 8PM. You can also
take guided tours on Sundays at 5PM and 6.30PM.
