Next Sunday January 20th, there will be a wonderful tango show in the Obelisco. The dancer Mora Godoy, one of the most renowned tango performers of Argentina will present “Amor Tango” (Tango Love). This spectacle which has tour around the world has proved to be a huge success. The objective of Mora
Godoy with this show was to fusion tango and milonga with candombe, electronic
music and even salsa. The melodies are included in different tango scenes which
include from traditional tango to the modern Piazzolla. The idea is to get the
tango rid of his melancholy. “Amor Tango” mixes the passion of tango with the
emotion of the dance live.
Mora Godoy is famous
for having created a unique and avant-garde style in the tango genre. She
installed a new way of making and showing tango. She became worldwide famous
with amazing spectacles as “Tanguera”, combining the skill and the velocity of
tango steps with acrobatics and a fusion of techniques.
